Introduction
Here is a selection of titles showing the various styles of music I would write for movie cues or TV themes. There are many more on the dropdown pages under the Music header.
I don’t use synthesisers in my compositions - I prefer to use conventional orchestrations to achieve variety. The internet abounds with tracks which use a lot of effects based around simple diatonic triads and virtually no melody so that there’s no point in my adding to the canon.
Some of the pieces below are written as cues for imaginary movies - they obviously cannot be used ‘as is’ off the shelf. They are intended to demonstrate my style of writing for those wishing to have real orchestral background music in their visual media.
With this in mind I have included music in a variety of genres. I hope the listener will enjoy them.
